We're Hiring | Video Editor | Shimla (On-Site)
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor with 2–3 years of experience to join our team in Shimla. This role is ideal for someone with a strong grip on media-style editing — think News channels, Youtube productions, and fast-paced social media content.
ROLE OVERVIEW
You will be responsible for editing and delivering high-quality video content across multiple formats — from news-style edits and podcast recordings to Reels, Shorts, and social media clips.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit videos for YouTube channels, news-style productions, and social media platforms
- Create engaging Social Media Reels, Short Videos, YouTube Shorts, and short-form content
- Edit podcast-style videos with clean audio-visual sync and graphics
- Work with motion graphics, captions, transitions, and sound design
- Manage and organize media assets efficiently
- Deliver content on tight deadlines without compromising quality
REQUIRED SKILLS & TOOLS
- Adobe Premiere Pro (must-have)
- Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut Pro
- AI editing tools — Descript, Runway ML, Adobe Firefly, or similar
- Strong understanding of color grading, audio mixing, and visual storytelling
- Familiarity with platform-specific formats (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook)
WHO YOU ARE
- 2–3 years of hands-on video editing experience
- Strong media sensibility — you understand pacing, storytelling, and audience retention
- Proficient in both English and Hindi (spoken & written)
- Up-to-date with AI tools and how they enhance the editing workflow
- Detail-oriented, self-driven, and able to manage multiple projects
