Role Overview
The Branch Operation Manager (BOM) at Sahayog Multistate Credit Cooperative Society will play a critical role in managing the operations of the branch, ensuring smooth functioning, maintaining branch hygiene, managing cash, and delivering quality customer service. The BOM will act as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the branch level, overseeing all operational aspects and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory norms.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:
Managing all operational activities.
Control and coordinate all functions within the branch, including back office and processing centers.
Authorize daily transactions, both cash and non-cash.
Ensure smooth functioning of the branch and quality customer service.
Branch Hygiene:
Maintain branch hygiene and ensure all areas are orderly and clean.
Cash Management:
Manage daily cash operations of the branch.
Customer Service:
Play a critical role in lobby management to manage customer walk-ins efficiently.
Ensure team members are trained on multi-skills to resolve customer queries quickly and control wait times within desired norms.
Cost Management:
Minimize costs and ensure minimum leakage of income under the guidance of the Branch Manager.
Conduct periodic reviews and analyze existing operations/processes.
Take initiatives to improve processes and provide constant feedback to the Branch Manager.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal norms on branch operations.
Identify and plug any gaps or deviations that may arise.
File and Account Management:
Responsible for end-to-end file management and account opening (CASA, loan files, and other products).
Training and Development:
Ensure the branch team members are sufficiently trained to perform their duties effectively.
Risk Management:
Proactively identify potential areas of risk and take steps to mitigate them in coordination with the Cluster Operations Manager (COM).
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Technical Proficiency:
Good computer proficiency, particularly in MS Office.
Communication Skills:
Excellent command over the regional language and written English.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical skills to evaluate and improve branch operations.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
Graduation or MBA in Finance or related fields.
Experience:
Relevant experience in branch operations management, with knowledge of cash counter operations.

Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
