Job Summary
The Coil Winder & Rewinder is responsible for winding, rewinding, insulating, and assembling motor coils as per production drawings and quality standards. The role includes handling winding machines, maintaining production targets, and ensuring proper insulation and workmanship during coil manufacturing and rewinding activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoil Winding Activities
- Perform coil winding operations as per specification and drawing.
- Operate manual and semi-automatic winding machines.
- Maintain proper turns count, wire gauge, and winding pattern.
- Ensure proper insulation during winding process.
- Check coil dimensions and quality before forwarding to next process.
Rewinding Activities
- Remove damaged winding from motors safely.
- Rewind stator/rotor coils according to technical specifications.
- Replace insulation materials and varnish where required.
- Conduct continuity and insulation resistance checks.
Production & Quality
- Achieve daily production targets.
- Follow quality standards and work instructions.
- Identify defects such as short circuit, loose winding, improper insulation, etc.
- Maintain rejection and rework within acceptable limits.
Machine & Tool Handling
- Handle winding tools, soldering equipment, measuring instruments, and testing devices properly.
- Maintain cleanliness of machine and workplace.
- Report machine issues or abnormalities immediately.
Safety & Discipline
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Maintain workplace discipline and 5S standards.
- Follow company policies and production procedures.
Pay: ₹8,763.84 - ₹32,077.66 per month
