Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced InDesign Paginator to handle page layout, formatting, and pagination for books, journals, magazines, newspapers, or digital publications using Adobe InDesign. The candidate will ensure high-quality composition, consistency, and adherence to publishing standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pagination and page layout using Adobe InDesign.
- Format books, journals, magazines, catalogs, and other print/digital content.
- Apply paragraph styles, character styles, templates, and master pages.
- Handle image placement, tables, charts, and typography adjustments.
- Ensure consistency in layout, spacing, fonts, and page numbering.
- Work with editors, proofreaders, and production teams to meet deadlines.
- Make corrections based on author/editor/client feedback.
- Prepare print-ready PDF files and perform preflight checks.
- Maintain quality standards for publishing and composition workflows.
- Follow XML/LaTeX/workflow guidelines where applicable.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Adobe InDesign.
- Knowledge of typography, composition, and publishing standards.
- Familiarity with:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Acrobat
- Good understanding of print production and prepress processes.
- Ability to handle large-volume pagination projects.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Knowledge of XML workflows is an advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
