Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Rebar Detailer to join our team in Tiruchirappalli. This is a full-time, on-site position.
The Senior Rebar Detailer will be responsible for preparing accurate rebar shop drawings and reinforcement details based on architectural and structural drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate rebar shop drawings and reinforcement details from architectural and structural plans.
- Interpret and review structural drawings, specifications, and design documents.
- Perform rebar quantity take-offs and assist with estimation activities when required.
- Coordinate drawings with project managers, engineers, and other disciplines.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or design conflicts before fabrication and installation.
- Provide clear and accurate detailing information for fabrication and site installation.
- Maintain proper documentation, drawing records, and revision control.
- Support quality control and ensure drawings meet required accuracy and project standards.
- Mentor and guide junior rebar detailers and support their technical development.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed accurately and within the required deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Rebar Detailing and Rebar Shop Drawings.
- Good understanding of reinforcement steel and structural systems used in building and infrastructure projects.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and structural plans.
- Experience with CADS RC or similar rebar detailing software will be an added advantage.
- 2 to 8 years of relevant experience in rebar detailing or structural detailing, preferably in a senior or lead role.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work accurately under tight project deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to mentor and coordinate with junior rebar detailers.
- Willingness to work in an on-site office environment in Tiruchirappalli.

- Salary: Commensurate with experience, skills, and performance during the interview.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
