Full job description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Executive / Accountant to join our hotel property in Ooty. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, handling day-to-day accounting activities, and supporting the property management team with accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.
Handle accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare daily/monthly financial reports.
Manage cash, bank reconciliation, and petty cash transactions.
Verify invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
Assist with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Coordinate with the Corporate Accounts/Finance team.
Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation.
Maintain accurate records of hotel revenue and expenses.
Support month-end closing and audit requirements.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Accounts.
Hospitality/Hotel industry experience will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of Tally / accounting software and MS Excel.
Knowledge of GST and TDS is preferred.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with different departments.
Candidates willing to work in Ooty are preferred.

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
