Full job description

Must be of age 45 -50
Should possess a work experience of 20 - 25 years
Manage, organize, and maintain the library’s collection of books, journals, and digital resources.
Develop and implement library policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation.
Assist students, faculty, and staff in locating and utilizing library resources effectively.
Maintain records of library transactions, including check-ins/outs and inventory management.
Curate and update library materials to meet academic and research needs.
Provide user orientation and training on library systems, cataloging, and research tools.
Ensure the preservation and proper storage of rare or sensitive materials.
Oversee the acquisition, classification, and cataloging of new resources.
Collaborate with faculty to support curriculum development through resource management.
Stay updated with the latest trends in library science, including digital resources and technology.
Should have strong knowledge and hands on experience in MS office like Excel and Power Point presentations
