Job Title: Sleep Technician
Location: Cuddalore, Pondicherry, Tiruvannamalai
Reporting To: ABM
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct Polysomnography (PSG) studies – Lab Based & Home Based
- Prepare patients for sleep tests and explain the procedure clearly
- Visit patient residence for home sleep study setup
- Educate patient/family on device handling and precautions
- Collect equipment after completion of study
- Ensure proper sanitization and maintenance of devices
- Assist in CPAP / BiPAP mask trial and device setup
- Educate patients on machine usage, cleaning, and maintenance
- Call patients for appointment confirmation and follow-up
- Explain Do’s & Don’ts before sleep study
- Update daily tracker for tests, leads, rentals, and conversions
- Share study completion status with reporting manager
- Maintain sleep study devices, sensors, cables, masks, and accessories
Report damages or missing items immediately
Education:
- Diploma / Degree in Sleep Technology / Allied Health Science / Nursing / Respiratory Therapy / Biomedical / Paramedical
- Freshers with relevant training can also apply
Experience:
1 to 3 years preferred in sleep lab / diagnostics / hospital technician role
Experience in PSG / CPAP handling preferred
Skills Required:
- Basic clinical knowledge
- Good communication skills (Tamil + English preferred)
- Patient handling skills
- Willingness to travel for home studies
- Computer knowledge (Excel / WhatsApp / basic reporting)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ₹18,000.00 per month
