Position: Chef de Partie (CDP)

Reports To: Sous Chef / Head Chef / Executive Chef
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie (CDP) to manage a specific section of the kitchen efficiently. The candidate should have strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety, kitchen operations, and team coordination. Experience in chocolates, bakery, nuts, snacks, and international food preparation will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a particular kitchen section independently
- Ensure food preparation and presentation meet company standards
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and portion control
- Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Handle daily mise en place and production planning
- Train and guide Commis chefs and junior kitchen staff
- Monitor stock levels and inform seniors about shortages
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations
- Reduce wastage and control food costs effectively
- Assist in new recipe development and product improvements
- Ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Good knowledge of chocolates, bakery, snacks, and nuts processing
- Understanding of international nuts and seasoning applications
- Basic knowledge of bakery production and dessert preparation
- Ability to handle kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and professional behavior with seniors and colleagues
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience Required
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotels, restaurants, bakery, confectionery, or food production kitchens
- Previous experience as Demi Chef de Partie or similar role preferred
Qualification
- Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or relevant field preferred
- Relevant practical kitchen experience is highly valued

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
