Job Description – QA Test Engineer

Experience: 1–2 Years
Department: Quality Assurance / Technology
Location: Dombivli
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Test Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. The candidate will be responsible for identifying bugs, executing test cases, coordinating with developers, and ensuring smooth product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Understand project requirements and prepare test scenarios/test cases.
Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications.
Identify, report, and track bugs using bug tracking tools.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, UI, and usability testing.
Coordinate with developers and product teams for issue resolution.
Verify fixes and perform re-testing activities.
Maintain QA documentation and testing reports.
Ensure product quality before deployment/releases.
Participate in daily stand-ups and project discussions.
Suggest improvements in testing processes and workflows.

Required Skills

Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle.
Experience in Manual Testing.
Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman is an advantage.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
Basic understanding of SQL and databases.
Knowledge of web and mobile application testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Certification in software testing is a plus.
Exposure to automation testing tools is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
