Job Summary

A Teaching Assistant provides academic and administrative support to instructors to ensure effective teaching and learning. They assist with lesson preparation, classroom activities, grading, and student support while helping maintain a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist teachers/professors in preparing lesson plans and teaching materials.
Support classroom instruction and facilitate learning activities.
Help students understand course concepts through individual or small-group assistance.
Grade assignments, quizzes, and exams as directed.
Monitor student attendance and maintain academic records.
Supervise students during classroom activities, labs, or examinations.
Assist in organizing educational events, workshops, and field trips.
Prepare and manage classroom equipment and learning resources.
Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment.
Perform administrative duties such as photocopying, filing, and data entry.
Communicate with students regarding assignments, deadlines, and course updates.

Required Qualifications
