Role description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Transformation Delivery Manager to lead strategic technology transformation initiatives and manage the successful delivery of large-scale fixed bid programs for a specific customer, account, or industry vertical.
This role serves as the single point of accountability for delivery excellence, commercial performance, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes across a portfolio of transformation initiatives. The Transformation Delivery Manager will be responsible for driving complex digital transformation programs from strategy through execution while ensuring predictable delivery, contractual compliance, margin achievement, and customer success.
The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in program delivery, fixed bid project management, transformation leadership, customer engagement, financial governance, and operational excellence. This role requires extensive experience managing multi-million-dollar fixed bid engagements, distributed global teams, and large-scale product/platform implementations.
The Transformation Delivery Manager will work closely with customer executives, business stakeholders, architects, engineering leaders, product teams, project managers, and delivery organizations to ensure transformation objectives are achieved within agreed scope, schedule, quality, and financial commitments.

Key Responsibilities
Transformation & Delivery Leadership
- Own end-to-end delivery accountability for transformation programs, product implementations, platform modernization initiatives, and large-scale fixed bid engagements.
- Lead strategic transformation roadmaps focused on digital modernization, cloud adoption, AI-enabled operations, automation, process transformation, and platform engineering.
- Translate customer business objectives into executable delivery plans, measurable outcomes, and transformation milestones.
- Ensure successful realization of transformation goals while maintaining delivery predictability and customer confidence.
- Act as the primary delivery executive responsible for program success, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.
Large-Scale Fixed Bid Program Delivery
- Lead delivery of complex fixed bid projects and programs with full accountability for scope, schedule, quality, cost, and contractual commitments.
- Establish robust delivery governance frameworks to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and timelines.
- Manage multi-workstream programs involving cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and geographically distributed delivery organizations.
- Drive proactive scope management and prevent scope creep through disciplined change control processes.
- Ensure contractual obligations, service commitments, milestones, and acceptance criteria are achieved.
- Identify delivery risks early and implement mitigation plans to protect schedule, quality, and financial targets.
- Manage customer expectations while balancing delivery commitments and commercial objectives.
- Drive successful execution of product implementation, migration, modernization, and transformation programs.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Own P&L responsibility for assigned programs and portfolios.
- Ensure achievement of revenue, margin, utilization, profitability, and cost management targets.
- Monitor project financial health through forecasting, budget tracking, earned value analysis, and variance management.
- Lead estimation reviews, solution validation, effort planning, and pricing governance for fixed bid engagements.
- Drive financial discipline through effective resource utilization, productivity improvements, and operational efficiencies.
- Manage contractual changes, commercial negotiations, and scope governance to protect project profitability.
- Provide accurate forecasting and financial reporting to leadership and customer stakeholders.
Customer Engagement & Executive Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the trusted delivery advisor and strategic partner to customer leadership teams.
- Build strong executive relationships across business, technology, operations, and transformation functions.
- Lead executive governance meetings, steering committees, operational reviews, and transformation status reviews.
- Communicate program health, risks, dependencies, financial performance, and business outcomes effectively.
- Proactively manage escalations and drive timely resolution of critical customer issues.
- Identify opportunities for account expansion, additional transformation initiatives, and value creation.
- Ensure customer expectations are aligned with contractual commitments and delivery realities.
Delivery Governance & Operational Excellence
- Establish and enforce delivery governance standards across all programs and projects.
- Drive rigorous program management through dashboards, KPI tracking, RAID management, milestone reviews, and executive reporting.
- Monitor delivery performance across scope, schedule, quality, cost, resource utilization, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Ensure compliance with organizational delivery frameworks, quality processes, security requirements, and governance standards.
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, continuous improvement, and execution excellence.
- Implement standardized delivery practices that improve predictability and reduce execution risks.
Program & Portfolio Management
- Manage multiple concurrent transformation initiatives within the assigned account or industry vertical.
- Ensure alignment between strategic objectives, business priorities, and delivery execution.
- Balance competing priorities, resource constraints, and customer expectations across programs.
- Drive dependency management and cross-functional coordination to achieve portfolio objectives.
- Establish portfolio-level reporting, governance, and performance measurement mechanisms.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead and influence diverse teams including architects, engineering managers, project managers, QA leaders, DevOps teams, product owners, business analysts, and customer stakeholders.
- Drive collaboration across onsite, offshore, and nearshore delivery teams.
- Remove execution bottlenecks and facilitate timely decision-making.
- Champion engineering best practices, automation, AI-enabled delivery models, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor delivery managers and project leaders to build a high-performance delivery organization.

Experience
- 12+ years of overall IT industry experience.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Delivery Management, Program Management, Transformation Leadership, or Portfolio Management roles.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale fixed bid programs and enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Experience managing programs with multi-million-dollar budgets and distributed global delivery teams.
- Strong experience delivering enterprise software implementations, platform modernization, cloud transformation, and digital initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in managing customer relationships at executive and senior leadership levels.
- Experience managing contractual commitments, commercial governance, and delivery profitability.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Hybrid, and traditional program delivery methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Experience delivering fixed bid programs exceeding 5M-10M in value.
- Domain expertise in Telecom Operations/AIOps, Healthcare, or BFSI strongly preferred.
