Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a caring and dedicated Special Educator to join our team immediately. The candidate should be passionate about working with children with special needs and able to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

IEP Development: Design, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific needs and goals.
Instructional Adaptation: Modify the general curriculum and teaching materials to suit different learning styles and abilities.
Assessment: Conduct initial and ongoing educational assessments to monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies accordingly.
Behavior Management: Use evidence-based interventions and positive reinforcement to manage classroom behavior and emotional challenges.
Collaboration: Work closely with our Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and parents to provide a holistic support system for the child.
Life Skills Training: Teach basic academic, social, and functional life skills to encourage student independence.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and behavioral data as per center protocols.

Requirements

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Special Education or Diploma in Special Education with experience.
RCI registration preferred.
Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
Good communication skills in English.
Immediate joiners preferred.
Patience, compassion, and passion for child development.
