Full job description

Prepare salads, cold appetizers, sandwiches, wraps, and canapés.
Prepare cold cuts, pâtés, terrines, and other garde manger items.
Prepare salad dressings, sauces, dips, and marinades.
Prepare fresh fruits and vegetables for buffet and à la carte service.
Ensure proper mise en place before service.
Maintain high standards of food presentation and plating.
Prepare attractive buffet displays and salad counters.
Arrange cold cuts, cheeses, salads, and appetizers professionally.
Maintain consistency in portion size and presentation.
Maintain correct storage temperatures for perishable food.
Follow HACCP, food safety, and hotel hygiene standards.
Ensure proper labeling, dating, and rotation of food items.
Prevent cross-contamination.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Garde Manger section.
Ensure all equipment and utensils are clean and properly maintained.
Coordinate with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and other kitchen sections.
Ensure all orders are prepared and served on time.
Prepare cold food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and buffet service.
Prepare salads, cold cuts, canapés, and appetizers for banquets and events.
Assist in setting up and replenishing buffet counters.
Maintain the appearance and freshness of buffet displays throughout service.
Monitor daily stock of vegetables, fruits, cheese, cold cuts, and other ingredients.
Follow proper portion control.
Minimize food wastage.
Report shortages, spoilage, and quality issues to the Chef/Sous Chef.
Follow FIFO/FEFO storage procedures.
Guide and supervise Commis Chefs and kitchen helpers in the section.
Train junior staff in food preparation, hygiene, and presentation.
Maintain good communication with the kitchen and service teams.
Maintain personal hygiene and proper grooming standards.
Keep workstations, refrigerators, cutting boards, and equipment clean and sanitized.
Follow hotel fire, health, safety, and food hygiene procedures.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
