Position: Journalist & Copywriter Intern

Employment Type: Internship

Duration: 3–6 Months

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and curious Journalism & Copywriting Intern who is passionate about storytelling, research, writing, and digital media.

The intern will get hands-on experience in content research, journalism, copywriting, social media content, and digital storytelling, while working closely with our creative and marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and develop content ideas for digital platforms.

- Write engaging articles, news-based content, blogs, captions, and social media copies.

- Assist in conducting interviews and gathering information from reliable sources.

- Convert complex information into simple, engaging, and reader-friendly content.

- Create creative copy for social media campaigns, advertisements, websites, and marketing materials.

- Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, tone, and accuracy.

- Stay updated with current affairs, social trends, digital media, and popular topics.

- Assist the team in developing content strategies and storytelling concepts.

- Collaborate with designers, video editors, and marketing professionals to develop content.

Requirements

- Students or fresh graduates from Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Media Studies, or related fields.

- Strong writing and communication skills.

- Good command of English and Malayalam.

- Ability to research and verify information.

- Creative thinking and a strong sense of storytelling.

- Interest in journalism, digital media, advertising, and social media.

- Basic knowledge of social media platforms is an advantage.

- Willingness to learn and experiment with different writing styles.
