URGENT HIRING – SOUS CHEF (Restaurant)

The Roy Fine Dine Group of Restaurants
Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), Tamil Nadu

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to work as a Kitchen In-charge and All-Rounder, supporting the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and maintaining high standards of food quality across multiple cuisines.

Position Details

Position: Sous Chef – Restaurant
Department: Kitchen / Food Production
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: Minimum 5+ years in professional restaurant or hotel kitchen operations
Reporting To: Executive Chef / Head Chef

Salary & Benefits

Salary: ₹.35,000 – ₹.50,000 per month (Based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
Take responsibility as the Kitchen In-charge during operations
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff and cooking activities
Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation
Manage kitchen workflow during busy service hours
Maintain food hygiene and safety standards
Monitor food preparation, portion control, and minimize wastage
Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
Maintain inventory and coordinate with the purchase team for stock requirements
Be an all-rounder capable of handling multiple kitchen sections as required

Required Cuisine Expertise

Candidates must have strong hands-on experience in:

✔ Chinese Cuisine
✔ Indian Cuisine
✔ Tandoor / Grill
✔ Continental Cuisine
✔ Basic knowledge of Pan-Asian Cuisine

Required Skills

✔ Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
✔ Ability to perform efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen environment
✔ Knowledge of restaurant kitchen operations and menu planning
✔ Excellent team coordination and staff training skills
✔ Passion for food quality, consistency, and innovation
✔ Tamil language proficiency is mandatory

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts (Preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen
