Full job description

Job Summary:

The Therapist is responsible for providing traditional therapeutic treatments such as Varmam, Thokkanam, and Panchakarma therapies to patients. The role focuses on promoting healing, pain relief, detoxification, and overall wellness under the guidance of doctors.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Varmam therapy for pain management and energy balance
Provide Thokkanam (therapeutic massage) treatments as per patient condition
Administer Panchakarma therapies such as Abhyanga, Pizhichil, Njavarakizhi, etc.
Assist doctors in preparing treatment plans
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of therapy rooms and equipment
Prepare oils, herbal medicines, and therapy materials
Monitor patient response during and after treatment
Maintain treatment records and reports
Educate patients on post-therapy care and lifestyle

Skills Required:

Knowledge of Varmam points and techniques
Experience in Thokkanam and Panchakarma procedures
Good physical stamina and hand strength
Patient care and communication skills
Attention to hygiene and safety

Qualifications:

Certificate / Diploma in Siddha / Ayurveda Therapy
Training in Varmam, Thokkanam, Panchakarma
Experience in hospital/clinic (preferred)

Work Environment:

Siddha Hospitals
Ayurveda Clinics
Wellness & Rehabilitation Centers

Salary (Approx):

Fresher: ₹12,000 – ₹18,000/month
Experienced: ₹18,000 – ₹35,000+/month

Benefits:

Candidates who relocate will be eligible for company-provided food and accommodation.
