Job Title: HR Executive – People & Hiring
Tirupur Candidates Only.
Location: Tirupur, Tamil Nadu
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: General Manager / Managing Director
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About Coton Code Garments,
Coton Code Garments (CCG) is a premium knitwear manufacturer and exporter based in Tirupur. Founded in 2000, CCG has spent 25 years building a reputation for high-value, technically complex knitwear with global brands and is growing fast.
Our production floor is the backbone of what we deliver to clients. Keeping it fully staffed, skilled, and operationally ready every single day is a business-critical function — and that is exactly what this role is designed to do.
The Problem This Role Solves,
Like many garment manufacturers in Tirupur, CCG operates in a high-attrition environment. Workers leave without notice, absenteeism can spike without warning, and production lines cannot afford to sit idle waiting for replacements.
We are hiring an HR Executive whose primary focus is to make sure this never becomes a production problem. You will build the pipelines, networks, and systems to hire quickly, keep the floor staffed, and stay ahead of attrition — so that a worker walking out today does not affect output tomorrow.
Role Overview,
This is a floor-facing, action-oriented HR role. It is not a policy-writing or compliance-heavy position. Your job is to ensure CCG has the right number of workers, at the right skill levels, on the factory floor every day — and to close any gaps as fast as possible when they appear.
You will own the full hiring cycle for staff, production floor workers and support roles, manage day-to-day labour strength reporting, build rapid-response recruitment pipelines, and act as the primary point of contact for all people related matters.
Key Responsibilities,
- Rapid hiring of high quality staff, production workers and others
- Track and report floor-level headcount against daily production requirements every morning before line start
- Maintain a live attendance and strength dashboard covering all departments — knitting, cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing
- Identify shortfalls immediately and activate replacement hiring or redeployment within hours
- Coordinate with the Production Manager / GM / MD to understand staffing needs for upcoming orders and peak periods
- Maintain a bench of pre-verified, ready-to-deploy workers across all key skill categories
- Build and maintain a continuously refreshed talent pool of vetted candidates
- Develop active relationships with local labour contractors, placement agents, ITI/polytechnic institutes, and community networks in and around Tirupur
- Run walk-in drives, referral programmes, and community outreach on a rolling basis to keep the pipeline full — not just when a vacancy arises
- Reduce average time-to-floor for a new hire to under 3 working days for standard operator roles
- Conduct brief, informal check-ins on the floor to gauge worker sentiment and surface issues early
- Maintain weekly attrition and absenteeism data and share trends with the GM/MD
- Run fast, effective inductions for all new floor hires — factory rules, safety basics, quality standards, and job-specific expectations — within the first working day
- Ensure all joining paperwork, ID verification, and wage registration is completed before or on Day 1
- Provide monthly headcount, attrition, and hiring summary reports to management
- Work closely with line supervisors and department heads to anticipate hiring needs 2–4 weeks ahead of requirement
- Support the GM – Production in building department-level staffing buffers for high-volume order periods
Who We Are Looking For - Qualifications & Experience,
- 2–6 years of HR or people management experience, ideally in a garment, textile, or manufacturing environment in Tirupur or broader Tamil Nadu
- Hands-on experience with floor-level hiring — sourcing, screening, and deploying production workers quickly
- Familiarity with Tirupur's labour market: local hiring networks, contractor landscape, ITI connect, and typical attrition patterns
- Working knowledge of statutory compliance for factory workers (PF, ESI, Factories Act, minimum wage)
- Strong networks in Tirupur's labour market, or the demonstrated ability to build them quickly
- Clear, direct communication in Tamil (essential) and English for reporting purposes
- Organised and data-minded — able to maintain clean records and spot trends in attendance and attrition
- Resilient and resourceful — comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-pressure factory environment
- Trustworthy and discreet — handles sensitive employee matters with integrity
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
