Job Description: English Teacher – IB Continuum (MYP & DP)

Reports to the Head of Department (English)

Works in close coordination with the IB Coordinator and Section Coordinators

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the GSIS context, IB philosophy, and curriculum standards.

Contribute to the development and continuous review of IB, IG, and ISC curriculum, ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion in all learning experiences.

Design and deliver curriculum across English Language and Literature components.

Provide timely, constructive oral and written feedback.

Guide students through projects and coursework until completion.

Track and share unit progress with relevant stakeholders.

Reflect on teaching practices and continuously improve instructional strategies.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and assessments.
