Role - Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant – SCM Modules.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite R12 SCM modules and SCM Fusion Handson. The ideal candidate will possess both functional knowledge of Supply Chain business processes and technical development skills to design, develop, customize, support, and implement Oracle EBS SCM solutions and knowledge on SCM Fusion. The role requires close collaboration with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end Oracle SCM solutions. (LinkedIn)

Key ResponsibilitiesFunctional Responsibilities

· Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.

· Configure and support Oracle EBS SCM & Fusion SCM modules.

· Perform Fit-Gap Analysis and recommend Oracle best practices.

· Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs).

· Support CRP, SIT, UAT, Go-Live, and Hypercare activities.

· Troubleshoot production issues and provide functional support.

· Coordinate with business users for issue resolution and enhancements.

SCM Modules

Hands-on experience in:

· Purchasing (PO)

· Inventory (INV)

· Order Management (OM)

· Advanced Pricing

· iProcurement

· Receiving

Technical Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain RICEFW objects:

o Reports

o Interfaces

o Conversions

o Extensions

o Forms

o Workflow

· Develop using:

o SQL

o PL/SQL

o Oracle Forms

o Oracle Reports

o BI/XML Publisher

o Oracle Workflow

o OAF (Preferred)

· Develop inbound/outbound interfaces using:

o Open Interfaces

o Oracle APIs

o Concurrent Programs

· Perform data migration and validation.

· Debug performance issues and optimize SQL/PLSQL code.

· Support EBS patching, upgrades, and customizations. (LinkedIn)

Required Skills

· Oracle EBS R12/R12.2

· Strong SCM functional knowledge

· SQL & PL/SQL

· Oracle Forms & Reports

· XML Publisher / BI Publisher

· Oracle APIs

· Open Interfaces

· Concurrent Programs

· OAF (Preferred)

· Shell Scripting (Preferred)

Business Process Knowledge

Good understanding of:

· Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

· Order-to-Cash (O2C)

· Inventory Management

· Warehouse Operations

· Supply Chain Planning

· Distribution & Logistics (LinkedIn)

· 5–10 years of Oracle EBS SCM experience.

· Minimum 2–3 end-to-end Oracle EBS implementation projects.

· Experience in support, enhancements, rollout, and upgrade projects.

Preferred Skills

· Oracle Fusion SCM exposure.

· Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) knowledge.

· Experience with EDI integrations.

· Exposure to SOA/Web Services.

· Performance tuning experience.

· ITIL process knowledge.

· Agile/Scrum methodology.

Soft Skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

· Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.

· Strong documentation and presentation skills.

· Ability to mentor junior consultants.

Nice to Have

· Oracle Cloud SCM exposure.

· Experience with DevOps tools.

· Integration with third-party applications.
