Job Summary

Konnak Engineering Private Limited is seeking an experienced Accounts & Finance Executive to manage project accounting, financial administration, payroll, vendor payments, banking coordination, taxation, budgeting, and financial reporting for an industrial EPC project. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and effective financial control while supporting project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Project Accounting

Maintain complete project accounting records.
Process purchase invoices and supplier payments.
Verify invoices against Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and supporting documents.
Process customer invoices and receivables.
Maintain the General Ledger.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Manage petty cash and cash flow.
Maintain fixed asset and depreciation registers.
Maintain project cost centres and cost codes.

Finance & Cost Control

Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS reports.
Monitor project budgets and expenditures.
Support project cost control and cash flow forecasting.
Prepare budget variance analysis.
Monitor commitments against approved budgets.
Coordinate with Quantity Surveyor / Cost Control Engineer on project costs.
Support management in financial planning and decision-making.

Payroll & HR Support

Process monthly payroll.
Calculate overtime, allowances, and statutory deductions.
Maintain employee payroll records.
Process employee reimbursements and travel claims.
Coordinate salary transfers.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

Prepare GST documentation.
Process TDS deductions and records.
Support statutory filings.
Maintain statutory registers.
Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant for:
GST Returns
TDS Returns
Income Tax
Audit
MCA Compliance
Financial Statements

Banking & Commercial

Coordinate with banks regarding project accounts.
Prepare payment requests and bank documentation.
Support loan documentation and subsidy-related financial records.
Maintain bank guarantees, performance guarantees, and financial securities.
Track insurance policies and renewals.

Procurement & Commercial Support

Verify Purchase Orders before payment.
Maintain supplier payment schedules.
Monitor advances and retention amounts.
Maintain subcontractor payment records.
Support contract administration from a financial perspective.

ERP & Digital Systems

Manage financial records using Zoho Books, Zoho ERP, or equivalent ERP systems.
Maintain accounts payable and receivable modules.
Update project cost reports and financial dashboards.
Generate financial and management reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (), Finance, Accounting, , MBA (Finance), CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts & Finance for industrial EPC, construction, manufacturing, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
Experience in project accounting and ERP systems is preferred.
