Full job description

We are looking for a professional and service-oriented Front Office Executive to join our hospitality operations team in Udupi. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in hotel front office operations, guest relations, reservations, and coordination with housekeeping and other departments.

The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day front office activities, handling guest interactions, maintaining reservations and inventory, and ensuring smooth operations across our properties.

Key Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day front office operations, including guest reception, check-in and check-out.
Manage room reservations, room assignments, availability and booking updates.
Handle guest enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, email and other communication channels.
Provide professional and courteous assistance to guests throughout their stay.
Resolve guest complaints, requests and operational issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate guest records, reservation details, daily reports and front office documentation.
Manage and update room inventory through the Channel Manager and other booking platforms.
Coordinate with housekeeping and other operational teams to ensure rooms are ready for check-in.
Monitor housekeeping operations and follow up on room cleaning, maintenance and guest requirements.
Coordinate with property managers, caretakers and other team members for smooth property operations.
Monitor arrivals, departures, room status and special guest requests.
Ensure accurate and timely updates of bookings, cancellations, modifications and room availability.
Handle peak-time front office operations efficiently while maintaining good guest service.
Maintain cleanliness, organization and professional presentation of the front desk and guest areas.
Prepare and maintain daily operational reports and communicate important updates to the management.
Assist in improving guest experience and maintaining service standards across our properties.

Requirements

A* experience in hotel, resort, homestay or hospitality front office operations is a Bonus*.
Previous experience with reservations and guest relations is preferred.
Experience using a Channel Manager, OTA platforms or hotel booking software will be an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be fluent in Kannada.
Basic to good communication skills in English and Hindi.
Good knowledge of computers, email, WhatsApp and basic office applications.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and guest requests during busy periods.
Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
Should be professional, responsible, punctual and customer-service oriented.
Willingness to coordinate with housekeeping and other operational teams when required.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
