Full job description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Commis 2 Chef specializing in Tandoor operations to join our culinary team. In this role, you will support the Chef de Partie (CDP) in managing the tandoor section. Your primary focus will be preparing high-quality tandoori breads, rotis, naans, kebabs, and tikkas while maintaining strict hygiene and kitchen standards. Key Responsibilities

Tandoor Operations: Skillfully prepare and cook a variety of Indian breads (naan, roti, paratha) and marinated items (tikkas, kebabs, tandoori chicken) in the clay oven.
Mise-en-Place: Complete daily kitchen preparations, portioning, marinations, and chopping required for the tandoor section before service begins.
Quality & Consistency: Ensure that food taste, quality, portion size, and presentation remain consistent and up to the restaurant's standards.
Food Safety & Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized work station. Follow all local food safety regulations and HACCP guidelines.
Team Collaboration: Assist senior chefs with inventory management, stock rotation, and prep work whenever required.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience specifically in the Tandoor section of a busy restaurant or hotel.
Education: A degree or diploma in Hotel Management/Culinary Arts is preferred but not mandatory if you have strong practical experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,500.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
