Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an Accounts Executive / Accountant to handle daily accounting operations, statutory compliances, reconciliations, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Bookkeeping

Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally Prime / MargBooks / ERP.
Record daily sales, purchases, expenses, journal entries, and vouchers.
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with timely follow-ups.
Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
Maintain vendor and customer ledgers and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor petty cash and prepare periodic summaries.
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

GST & Statutory Compliance

Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and conduct 2B reconciliation.
Handle E-way bills, E-invoice and maintain proper GST documentation.
Manage TDS compliance and related filings.
Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and respond to audit queries.

Sales, Purchase & E-commerce Accounting

Record B2B and B2C sales and purchase transactions.
Reconcile online marketplace payments (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).
Track payment gateway settlements, deductions, and commissions.
Maintain accurate stock, sales, and purchase records.

Reporting & MIS

Prepare monthly MIS reports, trial balance, and ledgers.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
Support in finalization of accounts.
Create and maintain Excel-based dashboards for management reporting.

Coordination & Support

Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors, and consultants.
Support regulatory filings and compliance-related documentation.
Coordinate with internal departments for expense tracking and budgeting.
Maintain organized documentation and filing systems.

Required Skills

Tally Prime / MargBooks / ERP systems
GST Compliance & Reconciliation
Bank & Ledger Reconciliation
MIS & Financial Reporting
E-commerce Accounting
MS Excel (Intermediate level)

Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
CA-Inter preferred
3–6 years of relevant accounting experience

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and numerical ability
High attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
