Full job description

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Analyst – Australian Compliance & Payroll to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and supporting Australian tax and payroll compliance tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. You will work closely with internal teams in India and Australia to support compliance requirements for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance Execution:

Prepare GST, BAS, and IAS compliance workpapers with high accuracy.
Assist in payroll compliance activities including PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, and Leave Accruals.
Ensure timely completion of assigned compliance filings.
Stay updated with Australian tax laws and regulatory requirements.
Support the team in addressing client queries related to compliance.
Perform self-review of work before submission to maintain quality standards.

Coordination & Support:

Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
Assist seniors in handling client requirements and compliance-related documentation.
Follow defined processes and escalate issues when required.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
Prepare reports and summaries as required by seniors or management.
Ensure adherence to internal processes and compliance checklists.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, payroll, or compliance.
Basic understanding of Australian tax concepts such as GST, BAS, IAS, PAYG, and Superannuation.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) is preferred.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Experience:

Australian Accounting: 3 years (Required)
