Full job description

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines such as lathes, milling machines, and machining centers.
Load raw materials and tools into CNC machines and ensure proper machine setup.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Monitor machine operations to ensure production quality and efficiency.
Perform in-process and final inspections using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges.
Make minor machine adjustments and tool offsets as required to maintain product quality.
Identify and report machine malfunctions, quality issues, or production delays.
Maintain production records, inspection reports, and machine logs.
Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance activities.
Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards.
Work closely with supervisors, quality inspectors, and maintenance personnel to achieve production targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and CNC controls.
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques.
Basic understanding of CNC programming is an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in shifts and meet production deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar CNC control systems.
Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions

Manufacturing/production shop floor environment.
Standing for extended periods and handling machine components.
Compliance with PPE and workplace safety requirements.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹33,846.40 per month
