Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing a variety of civil engineering projects that enhance infrastructure and community development. Your expertise will drive project success from conception through completion, ensuring safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Duties
- Develop detailed project plans, schematics, and system designs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software.
- Conduct geotechnical engineering assessments and land surveying to inform project parameters and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Manage project scheduling and construction management activities to meet deadlines and budget targets.
- Perform construction inspection duties to verify quality control, adherence to specifications, and safety protocols on-site.
- Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) such as ArcGIS and HEC (Hydrologic Engineering Center) tools for spatial analysis and hydrological modeling.
- Prepare accurate construction estimating reports and technical writing documentation for project proposals and reports.
- Oversee system design aspects related to water treatment, wastewater management, hydraulics, and pipeline installation projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience with project management principles including project scheduling and construction management.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit; familiarity with drafting standards is essential.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering practices, hydraulics, water/wastewater treatment systems, and land surveying techniques.
- Experience with GIS platforms like ArcGIS or similar tools for spatial data analysis.
- Ability to perform construction estimating using industry-standard methods like SWMM (Storm Water Management Model) or similar software.
- Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports, schematics, and system documentation.
- Familiarity with construction inspection procedures and system design principles in civil engineering projects.
