Mathematics Teacher – Primary Section
If you want to move beyond rote procedures into building confident problem solvers and logical thinkers from an early age, this is the right opportunity for you.
In our school, Primary Mathematics emphasizes conceptual clarity, number sense, logical reasoning, and joyful problem-solving. We want worksheets and homework to feel like puzzles students are excited to solve—not pressure they are forced to complete.
Join us to make foundational Math learning a journey where children feel curious, confident, and capable.
Mindset & Skillset Shift
Primary Mindset – Focus on number sense, conceptual clarity, and reasoning over memorisation of procedures.
People Management – Encourages peer discussion, math talks, collaborative problem-solving, and hands-on exploration.
Problem Solving – Diagnostic Teaching: Identifying misconceptions in place value, operations, fractions, and basic geometry.
Language & Communication – Question-Driven Learning: Using prompts like “How do you know?”, “Can you show another method?”, and “What happens if…?”.
Conflict Resolution – Growth-Oriented: Treating mistakes in calculations as opportunities to strengthen logic.
Data & Digital Literacy – Tech Integration: Interactive math tools, visual models, and digital manipulatives.
Collaboration – Integrated Thinker: Connecting Math concepts with Science, EVS, and real-life situations.
Strategic Planning – Flexible Scaffolding: Adjusting pace and problem complexity based on mastery levels.
Ethics & Integrity – Fair Assessment Advocate: Encouraging honest effort and logical reasoning.
Growth Mindset – Pedagogical Innovator: Using math games, manipulatives, project-based learning, and flipped concepts.
