We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO professional with 4+ years of expertise in
SAP Finance
(FICO) to manage and optimize financial management with SAP best practices. The
SAP FICO
Lead will play a critical role in the successful implementation, enhancement, and
support of the
SAP FICO modules. As the primary subject matter expert, you will lead the design,
configuration, and integration of SAP FICO processes while ensuring alignment with the
company’s financial objectives. This position requires strong leadership, strategic
thinking, and
in-depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the implementation, integration, and ongoing optimization of the
SAP
FICO modules (Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO)).
Oversee the full lifecycle of SAP FICO projects, including business blueprinting,
configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
ECC to S4 Hana migration and new GLS
Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to understand business needs, and
financial reporting requirements, and design SAP FICO solutions that align with
organizational goals.
Lead system configuration and customizations for key modules such as General
Ledger
(GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and
Controlling (CO).
Manage, Train, and mentor a team of SAP FICO consultants, providing guidance and
fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) and
third-party applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO issues related to system performance, data
accuracy, and business functionality.
Conduct SAP FICO system testing, including UAT and data migration, to ensure
smooth
functionality and user adoption.
Prepare comprehensive documentation, including process flows, configurations, and
user manuals for SAP FICO processes.
Maintain awareness of emerging SAP FICO trends, new functionalities, and SAP
S/4HANA advancements to continually optimize processes.
Manage change control and system upgrades to ensure ongoing system effectiveness
and compliance.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and SOX
standards
in SAP FICO processes.
Provide leadership and support for training, change management, and end-user
adoption during SAP FICO rollouts and upgrades.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO, with a strong background in leading
SAP FICO implementations and optimizations.
Expertise in SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable
(AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
Proven experience in full-cycle SAP FICO implementations, from blueprinting through
to deployment and post-go-live support.
Extensive knowledge of financial accounting principles and controlling processes.
Strong SAP FICO configuration skills and experience with integration between SAP
FICO and other modules (SD, MM, PP, etc.).
Experience with data migration, user training, and testing (including UAT).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills related to SAP FICO
issues.
Experience in leading and mentoring teams of SAP consultants.
Experience on the custom enhancement
Project documentation
Highly competent in the FICO module of SAP S/4 HANA
Dynamic, result oriented Team Player with intensive SAP
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both
technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and
expectations.
In-depth understanding of SOX compliance and internal controls related to SAP FICO
processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP FICO Certification (SAP Certified Application Associate or similar).
Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other advanced SAP technologies.
Experience in financial system integration and process automation.
Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and
experience in managing complex projects.
Familiarity with industry-specific financial processes (e.g., manufacturing, retail,
energy).
Proficiency with SAP Solution Manager or other SAP lifecycle management tools.
Fluency in English.
