JOB DESCRIPTION – CIVIL ENGINEER

1. Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience to manage and supervise civil construction activities. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, quality control, quantity estimation, project coordination, and ensuring that construction work is completed safely, on time, and according to approved drawings and specifications.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Study and interpret construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
- Supervise RCC, foundation, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, and project teams.
- Ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor quality of construction materials and workmanship.
- Conduct site measurements and quantity verification.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Assist in estimation, costing, billing, and material planning.
- Monitor consumption and proper utilization of construction materials.
- Identify site issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures, building standards, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor project progress against planned schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, measurements, inspections, and site activities.
3. Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and practices.
- Good understanding of RCC, structural, finishing, and building works.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOQs.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation and site measurements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage contractors and site manpower.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
4. Qualification & Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institution.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in civil construction/project execution.
- Experience in site supervision and construction coordination is preferred.
- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, telecom, or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
5. Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of estimation and costing.
- Experience with MS Project/Primavera or other project scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of relevant IS codes, building regulations, and safety standards.
- Experience in preparing measurement sheets and contractor bills.
- Ability to independently handle site activities.

- Timely completion of assigned construction activities.
- Quality of work and reduction of rework.
- Compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Effective utilization of manpower and materials.
- Accuracy of measurements, estimates, and reports.
- Coordination with contractors and project stakeholders.
7. Work Conditions
- Primarily site-based.
- May require travel to different project locations.
- Candidate should be comfortable working in outdoor construction environments.
- Compliance with company safety procedures and use of PPE is mandatory.
Ideal Candidate: A technically competent and responsible Civil Engineer who can independently supervise site activities, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, maintain quality standards, and ensure timely project execution.
Pay: ₹40,867.80 - ₹60,810.23 per month
