Job Description – Junior Architect

Position: Junior Architect

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and creative Junior Architect to support the architectural design and project teams in preparing drawings, presentations, and project documentation. The candidate will work closely with senior architects and project teams in developing architectural solutions and coordinating project activities.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparation of architectural concept designs and presentation drawings.
Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings.
Support senior architects and project architects in design development activities.
Prepare 3D models, renderings, and visualization presentations.
Modify drawings and designs based on project requirements and management instructions.
Coordinate with drafting teams and consultants for project documentation.
Participate in site visits and assist in site coordination activities.
Ensure drawings comply with project standards and company procedures.
Assist in preparation of approval drawings and submission documents.
Maintain proper drawing records and project documentation.
Support quantity calculations, material selection, and detailing tasks.
Attend project meetings and internal coordination discussions.
Assist in preparation of working details and construction documentation.
Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and project deliverables.
Learn and follow company design standards and workflows.
Good understanding of structural/MEP/Landscape drawings & documentations.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized university.
0–2 years of relevant experience.
Freshers with good design and software skills are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of construction drawings and architectural detailing.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Canva, Lumion, Photoshop, and MS Office.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Responsibilities – Junior Architect

Assist in preparation of schematic layouts and design studies.
Support the team in preparing architectural presentations and client submissions.
Draft and revise drawings as per instructions from senior architects.
Assist in preparing area calculations, schedules, and design reports.
Good understanding of consultant drawings
Prepare furniture layouts, zoning plans, and concept sketches.
Support site teams with clarification drawings and revisions.
Participate in material research and product selection activities.
Assist in preparation of tender drawings and documentation.
Maintain organized digital records of drawings and project files.
Follow office drafting standards and documentation procedures.
Learn construction methods and site execution practices through project exposure.
Support quantity estimation and detailing activities.
Participate in brainstorming and design development discussions.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings before submission.
Assist in preparation of walkthroughs and presentation materials.
Coordinate with internal teams for timely completion of assigned tasks.
Visit project sites to understand practical implementation of designs.
Support senior team members during client meetings and presentations.
Adapt to project requirements and work on multiple assignments when required.

Additional Skills Preferred

Basic understanding of building bye-laws and approval processes.
Good software knowledge in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Canva, MS Office , and Photoshop.
Ability to prepare clean and accurate drawings.
Strong learning attitude and willingness to take initiative.
Good teamwork and coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of materials and construction techniques.
Creative visualization and presentation abilities.
Ability to work under guidance and meet deadlines.
Good organizational and documentation skills.
Interest in architectural detailing and site coordination. Top of Form

Additional Information

Candidates with internship experience in architectural firms will be preferred.
Immediate joiners are preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
