Job Description:
Supports the Logistics Manager with driving Logistics management implementation through all business and service lines in the country to ensure: Logistics management professionalism, effectiveness and efficiency by delivering bottom line cost savings and value for Fugro.
- Actively engages with the business and develops key relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to assess supply chain risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost reduction and valuable opportunities for Fugro.
- Coordinates with all internal & external stakeholder.
- Coordinates with the Port Agents for smooth operations
- Customs Clearance for the Equipments & Vessel
- Coordinate with CHA & Offshore Agents for the Customs Clearance formalities
- Actively reinforce general and legal compliance and requirements regarding quality, health, safety, sustainability, and environment (“QHSSE”).
- Advocates for and communicates to Fugro stakeholders and colleagues the details of Logistics management processes, sourcing, QHSSE and any other relevant areas as required.
- Assist with the development and implementation of the Logistics Management strategy and roadmap.
- Provide cost estimation related to all logistics costing to Bidding Team at pre-bid stage. Verify the Logistic contractor’s invoice in line with the agreement & actual services rendered.
- Internal Interface: Project team, Operations, Account & Finance, Business Development & Estimation, HR, Administration, Resource Team, Legal, Taxation, Workshop and other support functions.
- External Interface: Oil & Gas Operator, EPC Contractor, Vessel Owner, Transporter, Crane & Hydra provider & other service providers. Statutory bodies (Port, Customs, Excise, MMD, DGH & other bodies associated with various clearances).
General Management Responsibilities:
- Determine resource requirements pertaining to personnel, equipment, financial, etc, with department managers, and other Fugro managers.
- Recruit, hire, train and supervise personnel; terminate as required and authorized.
- Supervise the induction of new personnel (direct report) and participate in the welcoming of all new hires (meeting).
- Undertake new hire reviews after 60-90 days of relevant personnel (direct report) and ensure new hire reviews are conducted by relevant managers.
- Approve training requests based on corporate objectives.
- Conduct annual performance reviews and interim reviews of staff reporting to them.
Principal Working Relationships:
- Work with Resource Manager, Business Line Managers, Project Managers, Accounts Department and the Workshop Manager to facilitate the logistics process in the company.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-cultural and international team coordination.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Discretion in handling confidential information.

Entitled to refuse any to undertake any activity considered unsafe. Responsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at site. Responsible for safe housekeeping of his work place. To stop any operation that is deemed unsafe To be able to operate fire extinguisher in case of fire To report an incident as soon as possible to immediate supervisor and HSE manager To complete HSE trainings as instructed to do so.
