Function: Agribusiness & Food Advisory
Experience : 4 – 6 yrs
Location : Hyderabad
Reporting To: AVP – Agribusiness & Food Advisory

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical professional to join as a Consultant / Senior Consultant to support market research, market intelligence, and strategic advisory engagements across agribusiness and food sectors.

This role is designed as a shared specialist resource working across multiple teams, with a strong focus on research rigor, insights generation, and strategic thinking, rather than being limited to a specific domain.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct market research and intelligence studies across agribusiness, food, and allied sectors.
Develop industry analysis, market sizing, competitive benchmarking, and trend assessments.
Support strategy engagements including market entry, growth strategy, portfolio assessment, and investment analysis.
Conduct data-driven analysis (market sizing, demand-supply, value chain analysis) and derive actionable insights.
Work on cross-sector assignments, including crop protection, seeds, food value chains, and emerging products.
Design and execute primary and secondary research frameworks.
Synthesize findings into client-ready reports, presentations, and recommendations.
Collaborate with internal teams across practices for multi-disciplinary project delivery.
Contribute to business development support through research inputs and proposal development.
Build and maintain knowledge repositories and market intelligence databases.

Candidate Profile

MBA / PGDM (Marketing / Strategy) or equivalent from a reputed institution
Candidates from any domain background are welcome; agribusiness/food exposure is good to have.
4–6 years of experience
Background in market research, consulting, or strategy roles
Proficiency in AI-driven data analytics tools and techniques is essential
Experience with consulting firms, research agencies, or corporate strategy teams preferred.
Exposure to commercial evaluation, financial analysis, and business case development

Key Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience in market/data analysis
Expertise in market research methodologies (primary & secondary)
Ability to integrate technical understanding with business strategy.
Working familiarity with AI-enabled tools / data analytics platforms to improve research, analysis, and insight generation (good-to-have, not mandatory)
Structured thinking and consulting mindset
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Ability to work as a shared/cross-functional resource across teams.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel (advanced), and structured report writing.
High ownership and adaptability in a dynamic consulting environment
