FP&A | Global Managed Services – Supervising Associate EY GDS

The Business Analysis sub-function of FP&A brings together people and teams focused on business leadership support, including cohesive strategic analytics and insights on management and performance reporting, enabling strategic decision making.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervising Associate to join our Global Managed Services team. This role supports strategic and operational decision making through data and insightful business analysis. The role has to understand business needs and collaborate with other Finance team members to bring best in class analytical support and solutions. The ability to understand and curate large data sets, present analysis and results through storytelling and problem solving is vital.

Your key responsibilities

Supporting financial and business analysis while supporting Managed Services Leaders and act as a trusted business adviser. Develop effective working relationships with the extended Finance team and leadership.
Focus on traditional performance management while also contributing to establishing "next generation" reporting frameworks.
Support the development, management, and delivery of comprehensive performance reporting and financial analysis related to Managed services initiatives.
Analyze business performance by creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and presentations that enable business leaders to quickly understand performance and underlying drivers.
Provide ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis services to GMS leadership in support of business planning and strategic and operational decision-making
Collaborate across EY (Super Regions, Service Lines, Finance, and Markets) to deliver one source of truth for Global Managed services performance.
Support the development of a suite of short and medium-term forecasting activities
Utilize EY’s Opportunity and Engagement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that impact business growth and client delivery.
Support continuous improvement in data quality, reporting tools, and analytical methodologies.
Support issue management and resolution, ensuring delivery of exceptional client service to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with EY’s financial policies and governance standards.

Ability to interpret data, assess its value, and present concise findings to stakeholders
Comfortable supporting new business models and innovative views into the business.
Demonstrates the ability to challenge assumptions and decisions appropriately.
Highly team-oriented with flexibility to prioritize conflicting demands and meet deadlines.
Advanced Excel, data modelling, Power BI & PowerPoint skills - ability to understand and curate large data sets, present analysis and results through story-telling and problem solving is vital.
Strong interpersonal skills - can work alongside and gain the trust and respect of stakeholders
Global mindset – ability to work effectively as a virtual team member and ability and willingness to work in a multicultural and diverse environment and flex style as appropriate
Good communication skills – written and verbal;

To qualify for the role, you must have

Graduate and/or professional certification in a business-related subject matter (e.g., Accounting, Finance).
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in finance or business analysis, preferably within professional services.
Advanced skills in financial/markets reporting, data analysis, and performance measurement.
Experienced in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Analysis Servers, Excel).
