Job Title: Installation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a technically skilled and hands-on Installation Engineer to oversee the installation and commissioning of conveyor systems at client sites. The role involves mechanical and electrical assembly, alignment, and integration of conveyor equipment as per design specifications. The ideal candidate should have experience in industrial automation or material handling systems and be comfortable working on-site under varying conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and execute the on-site installation, alignment, and commissioning of conveyor systems.
Interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, layouts, and installation schematics.
Perform mechanical assembly, rigging, leveling, and belt alignment for conveyor lines.
Install motors, drives, sensors, and control panels associated with conveyor operations.
Conduct functionality checks and system testing to ensure performance matches specifications.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve installation-related issues in coordination with design and controls teams.
Ensure all installation activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients for scheduling and site readiness.
Document installation procedures, checklists, and handover reports.
Provide on-site technical support and training to client personnel, if required.
Travel to customer locations (domestic/international) based on project requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related engineering field.
Good knowledge of industrial mechanical assembly and electrical wiring.
Ability to use tools, lifting gear, and alignment equipment safely and effectively.
Understanding of PLC control systems (basic level preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in teams.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to travel frequently and work in industrial environments.

Preferred Experience (Good to Have):

Familiarity with conveyor types: roller, belt, chain-driven, inclined, or automated sorting conveyors.
Experience with industrial automation and integration with robotic or packaging systems.
Certification in industrial safety or electrical work (preferred but not mandatory).

Work Conditions:

Field-based role involving physical work and occasional long hours.
Travel and stay at project locations as per installation schedules.
Adherence to safety practices in manufacturing plants, warehouses, or construction sites.
