Job Description
Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day underwriting operations for P&C insurance, ensuring SLA adherence and timely, accurate service delivery. Supervise and mentor a team of underwriting associates and specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. Monitor and analyze workload trends, quality metrics, and productivity reports to drive efficiency and continuous improvement. Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues, resolving client and internal concerns with speed and professionalism. Ensure strict adherence to underwriting guidelines, compliance standards, and process controls across all transactions. Partner with cross-functional teams to support transition activities, process enhancements, and technology adoption in underwriting delivery. Foster a collaborative team culture, promoting knowledge sharing, upskilling, and a continuous improvement mindset.
