Ajivasan Music Academy offers varied Music Appreciation Courses for children, adults and youth. Thoughtfully curated affiliation programs of Ajivasan, works for all the institutions; be it a school, corporate or residential colony.

Ajivasan aims at spreading music education with practical and scientific method which widens Individual's ability to use his/her potential to 100%. Legacy of 85 years; we've been training aspiring artists and helping them understand this art, with scientific and practical training for past 90 years.

Well-trained faculty under the guidance of Suresh Wadkarji, Prem Vasantji & Padma Wadkarji. Equip young India with scientific and technical knowledge in music which should help in creating brighter, cultural and art sensitive society. Ajivasan Music Academy has 20 branches all over Mumbai.

Ajivasan Sound Studio provides services of live sound setup, audio and video production, streaming services.

Designation: Assistant Faculty Manager-Western vocals and instruments
Location: Santacruz West, Mumbai

Role Overview

The Subject / Faculty Assistant will play a key role in supporting academic operations, faculty coordination, student engagement, and curriculum implementation across online platforms, branches, and partner schools. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills to ensure smooth functioning of academic activities and quality delivery of programs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Sessions

● Conduct classes at schools, branches, and online platforms as assigned.

● Ensure effective delivery of syllabus and academic content.

2. Student Demo Sessions

● Conduct and evaluate demo sessions for prospective online students.

● Assess student requirements and recommend suitable programs.

3. Faculty Coordination

● Coordinate with faculties regarding schedules, lesson plans, assessments, and operational requirements.

● Act as a bridge between management and teaching staff.

4. Content Curation & Development

● Assist in creating and curating academic content strictly aligned with the prescribed syllabus.

● Maintain and organize learning resources for students and teachers.

5. Teacher Progress Monitoring

● Track and document monthly teaching progress across faculties.

● Ensure syllabus completion and adherence to academic standards.

6. Branch Visits & Academic Audits

● Visit branches periodically to monitor academic quality and operational efficiency.

● Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.

7. Recruitment Support

● Source potential teaching candidates through various channels.

● Conduct initial screening calls and shortlist suitable candidates for further evaluation.

8.Compensation Class Management

● Plan, schedule, and monitor compensation (make-up) classes for students.

● Coordinate with faculties and parents/students to ensure smooth execution.

9. Events & Showcases

● Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing all student events, performances, showcases, workshops, and academic activities.

10. Examinations & Assessments

● Coordinate internal assessments, mock exams, and certification examinations.

● Maintain records, schedules, and communication related to examinations.

Required Skills

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

● Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.

● Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

● Basic knowledge of academic administration and reporting.

● Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace.

● Experience in the music, arts, or education sector will be an added advantage

Preferred Qualifications

● Graduate in any discipline.

● Strong foundation in music, with knowledge of vocal and/or instrumental training.

● Formal music education, certifications, or practical teaching experience will be an added advantage.

● Prior experience in academic coordination, teaching assistance, music education, or educational operations preferred.

● Familiarity with music examination boards such as Trinity College London, ABRSM, or Rockschool will be beneficial.

Working Hours: - 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM-7:00 PM

Weekly Off:- Sunday

On the days of the events, the working days & timings will be kept flexible. Also, overtime / working on a Sunday will be compensated in the very next week.

Salary: 40-42k per month

Office work-related travel expenses would be reimbursed.
Office phone and SIM will be provided for all official communication.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
