Role description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer with 4–6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and Salesforce platform capabilities. This role requires ownership of end-to-end development activities, solution design participation, code quality governance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

4–6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Lightning Experience.
Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), Bulk API 2.0, and external systems.
Develop optimized, reusable, and maintainable Apex code while adhering to Salesforce governor limits and development best practices.
Implement and manage asynchronous processing using Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Future Methods, and Scheduled Apex.
Participate in solution design discussions and provide technical recommendations aligned with Salesforce best practices.
Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and deployment guides.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Utilize Git-based version control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.) for branching, pull requests, code reviews, and release management.
Ensure high code coverage through comprehensive unit testing and maintain application performance.

Required Skills

Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce Security Model.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs.
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and development best practices.
Experience with CI/CD processes and deployment tools.
Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and drive technical solutions.

Good to Have

Exposure to Salesforce Agentforce and AI-powered Salesforce capabilities.
Experience working with AI development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT.
Basic prompt engineering skills for development acceleration, test case generation, and technical documentation.
Experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) or Experience Cloud.
Knowledge of DevOps and release management practices.
Experience with industry clouds like Salesforce Consumer Goods

Salesforce Platform Developer II (PD2) – Added Advantage
