As we continue to scale, we're looking for a Demand Generation Manager who can build a predictable sales pipeline, strengthen marketing-sales alignment, and ensure every qualified lead is tracked from first touch to revenue.

Role Overview

As the Demand Generation Manager, you will own the complete lead generation engine for OnGrid.

You will be responsible for planning and executing demand generation initiatives, managing an existing demand generation team, improving lead quality, and ensuring complete visibility across the marketing-to-sales funnel.

This role goes beyond generating leads, you will own pipeline health, identify funnel leakages, improve conversion rates, and work closely with Sales and multiple cross-functional stakeholders to maximize pipeline and revenue impact.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Generation

Own monthly and quarterly lead generation targets across inbound and outbound channels.
Drive outbound demand generation through cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn outreach, account-based prospecting, and other innovative outbound strategies to increase pipeline generation.
Continuously evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, AI platforms, and outreach methodologies to improve outbound efficiency and response rates.
Identify new demand generation opportunities across industries and buyer personas.

Funnel & Pipeline Management

Own the complete marketing funnel from Lead MQL SQL Opportunity Revenue.
Monitor every stage of the funnel and proactively identify and eliminate lead leakages.
Build dashboards to track lead ageing, follow-ups, conversion rates, and campaign performance.
Work closely with Sales teams to improve lead acceptance, follow-up discipline, and opportunity conversion.
Ensure accurate attribution, reporting, and complete visibility across all acquisition channels.

Team Management

Lead and mentor the existing Demand Generation team.
Set weekly and monthly KPIs for pipeline generation and campaign execution.
Conduct regular performance reviews and coach team members to improve productivity and outcomes.
Build scalable processes, improve operational efficiency, and drive accountability across the team.

CRM & Marketing Operations

Own end-to-end campaign execution and lead management in HubSpot CRM.
Build and optimize email workflows, lead nurturing journeys, forms, landing pages, lead scoring, and automation.
Maintain CRM hygiene, source attribution, campaign tracking, and reporting accuracy.
Continuously optimize workflows and automation to improve lead management and reduce manual effort.

Collaboration

Partner closely with Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Marketing, and Leadership teams to align on business priorities.
Ensure timely lead routing, follow-up SLAs, and seamless handover of qualified leads.
Work with external agencies, technology partners, and vendors to improve campaign performance and demand generation initiatives.

Reporting & Analytics

Track and report key marketing KPIs including:
- Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
- Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
- Lead-to-SQL Conversion Rate
- Opportunity Creation
- Pipeline Contribution
- Revenue Influence
- Cost per Lead (CPL)
- Campaign ROI
Build executive dashboards, analyze campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, and present actionable insights to leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

5–8 years of experience in Demand Generation, Growth Marketing, Revenue Marketing, Marketing Operations, or B2B Lead Generation.
Proven experience generating enterprise B2B leads in the Indian market.
Prior experience managing a demand generation or inside sales team.
Demonstrated success in cold calling, cold emailing, outbound prospecting, and pipeline generation.
Strong understanding of B2B sales funnels, lead qualification, and funnel optimization.
Hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM for campaign execution, automation, lead tracking, and reporting.
Strong analytical mindset with experience building dashboards and tracking funnel performance.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience in HR Tech, SaaS, Background Verification, Identity Verification, Risk & Compliance, FinTech, or Enterprise Technology.
Familiarity with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Clay, AI-powered prospecting tools, Microsoft Excel, and reporting platforms.
Experience implementing automation and AI-led workflows to improve demand generation efficiency.
