About the RoleJLL’s EMEA Work Dynamics business is seeking a Director of Finance Technology & Platform Enablement to drive the strategic development and operational excellence of our finance technology ecosystem. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of finance, technology, and transformation, with responsibility for shaping how data, systems, and processes power financial performance across the EMEA region.
Reporting into [TBC], you will partner with finance, technology, operations, and client-facing teams to deliver scalable, insight-driven platforms that support a complex and growing real estate services portfolio. You will be equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up your sleeves to drive execution, with a track record of delivering measurable value through technology-led change.
What You’ll DoAI & Finance Systems: Own the strategy and roadmap for ERP and core finance systems across EMEA Work Dynamics, ensuring platforms are fit-for-purpose, scalable, and aligned to global JLL standards.
Lead system governance, configuration management, and ongoing optimisation of ERP platforms (e.g. JD Edwards E1, Corrigo, PeopleSoft, SAP), working closely with Group IT, Finance, and business operations.
Drive system upgrades, migrations, and integrations, managing key stakeholder relationships and ensuring minimal business disruption.
Work closely with the financial systems and enterprise platforms team to ensure business requirements are translated into effective system configurations and enhancements.
Define and maintain a controls framework for system access, data integrity, audit compliance, and SOC standards across all finance technology platforms.
Define and deliver a structured AI and technology literacy programme for the EMEA Work Dynamics finance function, ensuring teams are equipped to work effectively alongside emerging tools and platforms.
Partner with JLL’s global technology and innovation teams to pilot, scale, and embed AI-driven solutions within finance workflows.
Champion a culture of innovation within finance, encouraging experimentation, continuous learning, and adoption of new ways of working.
Data & Analytics Platforms: Establish and evolve a finance data strategy for EMEA Work Dynamics, enabling timely, accurate, and actionable insight across the business.
Lead the design and delivery of finance analytics platforms and dashboards (e.g. Power BI, Tableau), partnering with data engineering and BI teams.
Enable self-service analytics capabilities for finance and operational stakeholders, reducing dependency on manual reporting and improving decision-making speed.
Maintain and evolve financial reporting frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs that provide real-time visibility of financial performance to senior leadership and clients.

Process Automation & Transformation: Identify, prioritize, and lead finance process automation opportunities across EMEA Work Dynamics, including AP/AR, month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
Partner with the Work Dynamics transformation and shared services teams to re-engineer finance processes, leveraging RPA, AI, and intelligent automation tools.
Lead change management and adoption programmes for new technology deployments, ensuring finance teams are equipped and engaged.
Build a continuous improvement culture within the finance technology function, tracking value delivered through automation, efficiency metrics, and cost reduction.
Support portfolio optimization initiatives focused on cost efficiency and operational performance, translating financial data into clear operational insights for management.

Reporting & Controls: Ensure finance technology platforms fully support statutory and management reporting requirements across EMEA Work Dynamics, including multi-currency, multi-entity, and IFRS compliance.
Work with the Financial Control and Internal Audit teams to ensure technology-enabled controls are robust, documented, and operating effectively.
Lead the response to audit findings and regulatory change impacting finance systems, ensuring timely and effective remediation.
Serve as the operational finance technology liaison for key client accounts, supporting financial reviews, reporting delivery, and contract compliance.

About YouEssential Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in finance technology, financial planning & analysis, or finance operations leadership within large, complex organizations, ideally with EMEA or multi-regional scope.
Deep knowledge of ERP platforms and finance systems architecture; hands-on experience with JLL-used systems (JD Edwards E1, Corrigo, PeopleSoft) or equivalent (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
Proven track record of delivering technology-led finance transformation programmes, from strategy through to implementation and measurable adoption.
Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance frameworks, audit requirements, and SOC standards in a real estate, facilities management, or professional services context.
Experience leading data and analytics initiatives, including platform build-out, governance frameworks, and stakeholder enablement.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and senior stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
Experience supporting client relationship management, account finance, and contract administration in an outsourced services environment is advantageous.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional accounting or finance qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
Advanced proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms, and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).

Excellent communicator, able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical finance stakeholders and vice versa.
Strategic thinker with the ability to operate at both a systems design level and in hands-on delivery when required.
Collaborative and influential, with experience building trusted relationships across Finance, IT, Operations, Client, and Transformation teams.
High degree of comfort with ambiguity and change; able to set direction and drive progress in evolving environments.
Execution-focused with a proven ability to implement financial plans and processes aligned with business and client objectives.
Familiarity with real estate management services, property accounting, or asset management finance is advantageous.
