Job Description: Sales Manager Commercial Kitchen Equipment Manufacturing

Job Title:- Sales Manager

Department:- Sales & Business Development

Location:- Bawana, Delhi

Employment Type:- Full-Time

Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for generating business, expanding market presence, and achieving sales targets for the company's commercial kitchen equipment portfolio. The role involves developing relationships with consultants, architects, contractors, distributors, and end customers while identifying new business opportunities in hospitality, healthcare, education, food service, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across assigned territories.
Generate enquiries through consultants, architects, kitchen planners, and project management firms.
Promote the company's complete range of commercial kitchen equipment.
Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales.
Develop strategic sales plans to increase market share.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, restaurants, cloud kitchens, hospitals, educational institutions, industrial kitchens, and catering companies.
Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
Handle customer queries and resolve commercial issues promptly.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Channel & Dealer Management

Appoint and manage distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
Support dealers with product training, sales tools, and marketing activities.
Monitor dealer performance and implement growth strategies.

Project Sales

Coordinate with consultants, architects, MEP consultants, and kitchen designers during project execution.
Track upcoming hospitality and institutional projects.
Manage the sales cycle from enquiry to order closure and handover.

Market Intelligence

Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and new product launches.
Identify emerging market trends and customer requirements.
Provide regular market feedback to management.

Coordination

Work closely with design, production, procurement, logistics, and installation teams.
Ensure timely delivery and smooth execution of customer orders.
Coordinate with the service department for after-sales support.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Achievement of sales and revenue targets.
New customer acquisition.
Conversion rate from enquiries to confirmed orders.
Dealer/channel partner growth.
Project win rate.
Customer retention and repeat business.
Collection of outstanding payments.
Gross margin achievement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Hotel Management, or a related field.
MBA in Sales/Marketing is preferred.

Experience

3–10 years of sales experience in commercial kitchen equipment, food service equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, hospitality products, stainless steel fabrication, or related industries.
Experience in project sales and institutional sales is highly desirable.

Required Skills

Strong B2B sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and food service operations.
Ability to read project specifications and technical drawings.
CRM proficiency and Microsoft Office skills.
Strong networking, relationship management, and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to travel extensively.
