About this Role

We are seeking a Salesforce Testing & Administration Specialist to support testing, administration and configuration activities across Salesforce platforms within a telecom IT environment. This role is responsible for creating test strategies, test cases and test scenarios, supporting Salesforce configuration changes, managing defects, and ensuring high-quality solution delivery through effective collaboration with onshore and offshore stakeholders.

What you’ll do

Analyse user stories and business requirements to create detailed test cases and test scenarios
Maintain traceability between requirements, specifications, business rules and testing artefacts
Design, execute and document system, integration and functional testing activities
Create and maintain traceability matrices to ensure optimum test coverage
Support defect identification, tracking, retesting and closure activities
Participate in defect triage meetings and contribute to issue resolution
Perform Salesforce configuration and administration activities as required
Prepare, manipulate and manage test data to support testing activities
Create testing scripts and support execution across Salesforce environments
Provide status updates, raise risks and issues proactively, and contribute to knowledge management activities
Collaborate with offshore and onshore teams to support successful project delivery
Support peer reviews and ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices

Who you are

3+ years of experience in Salesforce testing
Hands-on experience with Salesforce testing and administration activities
Strong understanding of Salesforce features, rule-based testing and use-case testing methodologies
Experience using test management and defect management tools
Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud
Experience using testing and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
Salesforce Certified Administrator credential
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex software systems
Knowledge of test case automation is advantageous
Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant certification is preferred
