Position Overview: Sales Cum Service Engineer
Statcon Powtech Private Limited is seeking energetic and customer-focused Sales-cum-Service Engineer to develop sales and strengthen the dealer and distributor network within their assigned local regions. This is a hybrid, field-based role with a primary focus on sales and business development, along with after-sales servicing responsibilities based on customer and business requirements. The selected candidate will promote the company’s solar products, generate business opportunities, maintain strong channel-partner relationships, and provide timely technical and service support to customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities for the company’s solar products within the assigned territory.
Build, expand, and maintain a strong network of dealers and distributors across the local region.
Conduct regular market visits and engage with prospective dealers, distributors, customers, and other relevant stakeholders.
Generate sales leads and explain the features, applications, and benefits of the company’s solar products to potential customers.
Follow up on customer enquiries, quotations, orders, and other sales-related requirements.
Work towards achieving the sales targets assigned by the company.
Provide after-sales support, including basic installation, troubleshooting, inspection, and field servicing of solar products, as required.
Attend customer complaints promptly, identify basic electrical or electronic faults, and coordinate with the technical team for timely resolution.
Coordinate with the internal sales, service, and technical teams regarding customer requirements, product availability, service complaints, and spare parts.
Maintain proper records of sales visits, customer enquiries, orders, service calls, and complaint resolutions.
Submit regular sales and service reports to the reporting manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

Freshers are preferred, provided they are willing to take up this hybrid role involving both sales and servicing responsibilities.
Candidates with relevant experience in solar product sales, electrical or electronic product sales, channel sales, or after-sales servicing may also apply.
ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Basic understanding of electrical and electronic products, solar equipment, or power electronics will be an advantage.
Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Sales-oriented mindset with an interest in developing dealer and distributor networks.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned local region for market visits, customer meetings, and servicing requirements.

Employment Prerequisites:

The candidate will be responsible for independently handling sales and servicing activities within their assigned local region.
Candidates should be based in or near one of the following locations:
Agra, Bareilly, Jhansi, Fatehpur, Lucknow, Moradabad, Faizabad, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, or Muzaffarnagar.
The candidate must arrange and manage their food and accommodation independently within the assigned region.
Travel allowance will be provided as per the company’s applicable policy.
