Job Title: Project Manager - MEPF (for Interior Fit-out Projects)
Experience: Around 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in MEPF works associated with interior fit-out projects. You need to be an MEPF subject matter expert and have experience in delivering high end Office interior fit-out projects for IT / ITES / BFSI Clients.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager specializing in MEPF systems for interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in managing complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection installations within commercial and corporate Office interior projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all MEPF aspects of interior fit-out projects, ensuring timely completion, quality standards, and budget adherence.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans for MEPF systems.
Collaborate with architects, interior designers, sustainability consultants, and other construction teams to integrate MEPF systems seamlessly into the overall project design.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure MEPF requirements are met and systems are optimized for efficiency and sustainability.
Review MEPF designs, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
Implement and maintain safety protocols and quality control measures specific to MEPF installations.
Manage procurement processes for MEPF equipment and materials, including vendor selection and contract negotiations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MEPF systems during project execution.
Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings with stakeholders, focusing on MEPF milestones and challenges.
Review compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards for MEPF systems.
Experience in managing MEPF retrofits in occupied Office spaces.
Experience with testing and of commissioning of MEPF systems.
Mentor and develop junior MEPF team members, fostering technical expertise and project management skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services
The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems used in commercial Office buildings.
Should have knowledge of project management software and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) for MEPF coordination.
Understanding of building automation systems and smart building technologies.
Familiarity with energy-efficient design principles and LEED certification requirements related to MEPF systems.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
Good communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, designers, and technical teams / Consultants
This role requires a technically proficient leader who can effectively manage the MEPF aspects of complex interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEPF systems, combined with good project management skills and the ability to integrate these critical building systems into high-quality interior environments.
