Total Experience: 10+ Years
Relevant Experience: Minimum 07 Years as a Business Development Lead.
Education: Minimum Graduate & Master from any stream.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales & Traffic at Guardians Xpress. The Sales & Traffic officer will be responsible for day-to-day logistics management, coordination of transportation services, and overseeing the movement of goods. Hiring vehicles from Open Market / Brokers and placing the vehicles at client places , Placement of all types of vehicles from Nagpur and near by industrial areas to across Pan India.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in all Industry sector, including e-commerce companies, technology manufacturers, retailers, and distributors.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape, and use this information to develop tailored business development strategies.
Arrange market vehicles for project and general cargo across Pan-India.
Develop a strong transporter/vendor network for cost-effective vehicle procurement.
Ensure timely placement and movement of vehicles as per project requirements.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by proactively identifying and engaging potential clients.
Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the unique value propositions and benefits of our logistics services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure smooth onboarding and seamless delivery of services to clients.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability while meeting customer requirements and market standards.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the technology and consumer durables sector, including senior executives, supply chain managers, and procurement officers.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement and develop innovative solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the management team, highlighting key performance metrics, sales achievements, and areas for improvement.
Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to the technology and consumer durables sector and ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards in all business activities. Skills and Competencies Required.

Skills and Competencies

Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving sales targets in the logistics or related industry.
In-depth knowledge of the technology and consumer durables industry, including market dynamics, trends, key players, and supply chain requirements.
Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport, persuade and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex logistics solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify market opportunities, develop effective sales strategies, and overcome obstacles.
Strong relationship-building skills to establish and maintain fruitful partnerships with clients, industry associations, and other relevant stakeholders.
Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Analytical skills to analyze market data, sales metrics, and customer feedback to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
Resolve operational issues related to transportation delays, route planning, and vehicle availability.
Maintain a database of reliable transporters and suppliers.
Monitor freight market trends and optimize transportation costs.
Flexibility to travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, and explore new business opportunities.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
