Job Description – Talent Specialist (Individual Contributor) Position

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Talent Specialist to independently drive end-to-end recruitment across functions. The ideal candidate should have strong sourcing expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to build quality talent pipelines while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. This is an individual contributor role requiring ownership, accountability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from requirement gathering to candidate onboarding.
Source candidates through multiple channels including job portals, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, networking, and headhunting.
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and evaluate candidates based on role requirements and organizational fit.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and ensure a seamless recruitment process.
Partner closely with business leaders and hiring managers to understand hiring priorities and provide market insights.
Negotiate compensation with candidates while balancing internal salary structures and market benchmarks.
Ensure an excellent candidate experience through timely communication and follow-ups.
Maintain accurate recruitment data, applicant tracking records, and hiring documentation.
Prepare and present weekly and monthly recruitment MIS reports, hiring metrics, dashboards, and analytics using Microsoft Excel.
Track key recruitment KPIs such as Time-to-Hire, Time-to-Fill, Source Effectiveness, Offer Acceptance Rate, and Hiring Funnel.
Continuously explore innovative sourcing strategies and recruitment best practices.

Required Skills & Competencies

Minimum 5 years of hands-on recruitment experience.
Strong expertise in sourcing through multiple recruitment channels.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
Proven negotiation and influencing skills.
Ability to manage multiple hiring requirements simultaneously.
Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment data and generate actionable insights.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Technical Skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF functions, Data Validation, Charts, Conditional Formatting).
Experience creating recruitment dashboards and MIS reports.
Proficiency in job portals such as Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other sourcing platforms.
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is preferred.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Stable career history with demonstrated success in recruitment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
Self-driven, organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
