Job Description:

Responsibilities

Prepare tax returns and supporting workpapers for partnerships, corporations, individuals, estates, trusts, and nonprofit entities.
Support tax research and assist with various tax-related projects and advisory activities.
Prepare tax extensions, quarterly estimates, and related compliance documentation.
Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities with guidance from engagement teams as needed.
Maintain accurate and organized client records and engagement documentation.
Collaborate with team members to support timely and high-quality client deliverables.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to implementation initiatives.
Manage assigned responsibilities effectively while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
Support additional tax projects and engagement activities as requested.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
CPA (US) or CA (ICAI) preferred. Candidates not currently certified should meet eligibility requirements to pursue certification upon hire.
Minimum 2 years of experience in U.S. Taxation required.
Previous experience within a public accounting or professional services environment preferred.
Strong client service orientation with the ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within collaborative team environments.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and professional growth.
Flexibility to support additional hours during peak engagement periods as needed.
