We are looking for a motivated and career-oriented Associate US IT Recruiter to join our growing recruitment team. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or professionals with up to 2 years of experience who are interested in building a career in the US Staffing industry.
Job Summary:
The Associate US IT Recruiter will be responsible for supporting the complete recruitment lifecycle for US IT positions. The candidate will work closely with Senior Recruiters, Account Managers, and Business Development teams to understand job requirements, identify qualified candidates, conduct initial screening, and coordinate the recruitment process.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong willingness to learn, a target-oriented mindset, and the ability to work during US business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and analyze IT job descriptions received from clients and Account Managers.
- Source qualified IT candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, internal databases, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
- Perform basic Boolean searches and other candidate sourcing techniques.
- Review and screen resumes against job requirements.
- Conduct initial phone screens with candidates to evaluate their skills, experience, availability, location, compensation expectations, and work authorization.
- Maintain and develop a strong candidate pipeline for current and future requirements.
- Communicate job opportunities clearly to candidates and maintain regular follow-ups.
- Coordinate candidate interviews with recruiters, Account Managers, and clients.
- Track candidate status throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Update candidate information accurately in the ATS/CRM system.
- Work closely with senior recruiters and Account Managers to meet submission and placement targets.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate conversations, submissions, interviews, and follow-ups.
- Develop an understanding of US IT technologies and staffing requirements.
- Learn and understand common US employment and work authorization categories.
- Follow company recruitment processes, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment KPIs.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interest in US IT Staffing and Recruitment.
- Good understanding of computers and basic IT terminology.
- Ability to read and understand technical job descriptions.
- Strong sourcing and research skills.
- Basic knowledge of Boolean search is preferred.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Willingness to work in US shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, BPO, staffing, sales, or customer service.
- Previous exposure to US Staffing / US IT Recruitment is an advantage.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Dice, Monster, JobDiva, CEIPAL, Bullhorn, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Fresh graduates with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in recruitment are encouraged to apply.
