Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Accounts Head with strong experience in the Manufacturing Industry and proven exposure to multi-plant accounting operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete accounting and finance function, financial reporting, MIS, statutory compliance, audits, budgeting, cost control, and coordination across multiple manufacturing plants.

Manufacturing industry experience and multi-plant exposure are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounts & Finance Management

Manage the complete day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
Supervise accounting activities across multiple manufacturing plants and corporate/head office.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, journals, and other financial transactions.
Review and control accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash/bank transactions.
Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books.
Review trial balance, profit & loss account, balance sheet, and other financial statements.

2. Multi-Plant Accounting

Manage and consolidate financial data from multiple manufacturing plants.
Monitor plant-wise expenses, revenue, profitability, inventory, and working capital.
Ensure proper inter-plant and inter-company accounting.
Review plant-wise accounting entries and reconciliations.
Coordinate with Plant Heads, Commercial, Purchase, Stores, Production, and Management teams.
Ensure uniform accounting processes and controls across all plants.

3. MIS & Management Reporting – Strong

Prepare and present daily, weekly, monthly, and plant-wise MIS reports.
Prepare revenue, expense, profitability, receivables, payables, cash flow, and working-capital reports.
Develop plant-wise and product-wise cost and profitability analysis.
Prepare budget vs. actual variance reports.
Provide financial analysis and actionable insights to management.
Automate and improve MIS reporting systems wherever possible.

4. Advanced Excel – Mandatory

Strong / Advanced MS Excel knowledge is mandatory.

The candidate should be highly proficient in:

Advanced Excel formulas and functions
XLOOKUP / VLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH
SUMIFS / COUNTIFS / IF / nested formulas
Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts
Advanced data analysis
Conditional Formatting
Data Validation
MIS dashboards
Data consolidation from multiple plants
Reconciliation and exception reports

5. Tally & ERP – Strong

Strong hands-on knowledge of Tally Prime / Tally ERP is mandatory.
Strong experience working with ERP accounting systems.
Maintain and review masters, ledgers, vouchers, cost centres, and accounting configurations.
Ensure proper integration of Accounts with Purchase, Sales, Inventory, Production, and Stores.
Generate and analyze ERP-based financial and MIS reports.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of ERP data across multiple locations/plants.

6. Costing & Manufacturing Accounts

Monitor manufacturing costs and production-related expenses.
Analyze raw material, labour, overhead, and production costs.
Prepare product-wise / plant-wise cost analysis.
Monitor inventory valuation and stock reconciliation.
Analyze material consumption and production variances.
Support management in cost-control initiatives.
Review standard cost vs. actual cost wherever applicable.

7. Statutory Compliance

Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other applicable statutory requirements.
Coordinate with consultants and statutory authorities when required.
Review GST reconciliations, TDS records, and statutory payments.
Ensure proper documentation for statutory compliance.

8. Audit & Internal Controls

Coordinate statutory, tax, internal, and financial audits.
Prepare schedules, documents, reconciliations, and supporting information for auditors.
Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
Identify accounting discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

9. Receivables, Payables & Working Capital

Monitor customer outstanding and collection status.
Review vendor outstanding and payment schedules.
Prepare ageing reports and ensure timely follow-up.
Monitor working capital and cash-flow requirements.
Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, and Management teams for effective working-capital management.

Mandatory Requirements

Manufacturing Industry experience – MUST.
Multi-plant / multi-location accounting experience – MUST.
Advanced MS Excel – MUST.
Strong Tally & ERP knowledge – MUST.
Strong MIS and management reporting experience – MUST.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting, costing, inventory, and financial controls.
Strong analytical and leadership skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

8–12 years of relevant Accounts & Finance experience.
Experience managing accounting teams and plant-level finance operations.
Experience in manufacturing costing and inventory accounting.
Strong command over Excel-based MIS and financial analysis.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and coordination skills.

Effective management of Accounts & Finance team.
