Location : Grant Road, Mumbai

Experience Required : 10- 15 Years post-qualification experience

Working Days : Monday - Saturday

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Chartered Accountant to lead end-to-end accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, audit coordination, and MIS reporting across multiple group companies, firms, and individuals. The candidate will take complete ownership of all direct and indirect tax obligations, financial reporting, and regulatory filings, working closely with senior management and external authorities.

Key Responsibilities
- Finalization of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Accounts.
- Management of VAT, TDS, TCS, Income Tax, and Tax Audits.
- GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual reconciliations.
- ROC filings, annual returns, and company law compliances.
- Coordination of statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Supervision of accounting operations in Tally ERP.
- Bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and vendor payments.
- Handling assessments and notices from Income Tax, GST, and other authorities.
- Export documentation and foreign remittance compliance.
- Management of compliance across multiple companies, firms, and individuals.

MIS & Financial Reporting
- Prepare and present monthly MIS reports for management covering sales, profitability, expenses, cash flow, receivables, payables, inventory, and key financial ratios.
- Analyse variances between budgeted and actual performance and provide actionable insights to management.
- Develop entity-wise and consolidated financial reports for multiple group companies.
- Monitor working capital, fund flow, and cash flow requirements and submit periodic reports to management.
- Prepare dashboards and management presentations for strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with various departments to collect operational and financial data for MIS reporting.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial analysis and recommend corrective actions.

What Success Looks Like
- All monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory filings are completed on time across all entities — zero penalties or interest.
- MIS reports are accurate, insightful, and submitted to management without follow-up.
- Audits and assessments are handled independently with clean documentation and no escalations.
- Management has complete visibility of the group's financial position at all times.

Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of VAT, Income Tax, GST, TDS / TCS, and Company Law.
- Expertise in Tally ERP and financial reporting.
- Experience in handling audits and assessments independently.
- Ability to manage multiple entities and strict compliance deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) — ICAI membership mandatory. • Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience across taxation, compliance, and financial reporting. • Prior experience managing multi-entity compliance in a CA firm or corporate group preferred. • Proficiency in Tally ERP and government compliance portals mandatory.
